Stevens Family Reunion

One of the things we look forward to every year is the Stevens Family reunion on Pioneer Day. This year was especially fun, because we got to meet some distant relatives of Wade's that have never come before. I always think Wade is so lucky; he has such rich pioneer heritage. I think I will do a special post for it, a tribute to William Stevens & David Riley.

One of the best parts of the 24th festivities is the parade. It is mostly made up of local kids in the back of pick-up trucks and flat bed trailers throwing out candy to the rest of the town's kids. This year Holden was one of those kids. Go Holden!

Year in Review aka: The Lazy Blogger's Post

Here is what we have been up to since my last post:

*We celebrated some holidays

Mean I know, but true.

They really wanted presents.

*We went on some fun trips

I took my sister to Las Vegas for her birthday.

*We experienced the seasons

*We bought a dental practice

(that was a BIG one)

*We moved to Provo

*We enjoyed nature

*We all got a little bit older

Holden turned 4

And Wade....I'm not really sure how old he is now.

*And we added to our family

(my favorite thing we did all year, WAY more fun than getting older)

H&C finally did something naughty enough to get put in jail.

I took a photo class.

And we scared the heck out of the kids at the State Fair.

Well, that about sums up our year. It was super busy, super fun, and went SUPER fast. The bad part is that I cannot possible tell about all of the little things we did each day, which are always the most fun anyways. It was the little things that I loved the most from last year; the short but exciting visits from family, the forts in the front room, the hid-and-go-seek with H&C when I was 9 months pregnant, the snow shacks, the traditions, etc. I will try to start blogging more about those.

Return of the Blog

Well, here I am. I have recently decided to start my blog up again. After many inquires about why I went private, (and included no one,) I decided to end the blog silence. I think I should clear something up though, my blog never actually went private, I just took a little sabbatical from the blogisphere due to the craziness of life. But I am finally ready to take it up again. I have continued however, to enjoy other people's blogs, so thank you to everyone who has a blog out there. I updated a few things, and I will try to do a year in review post some time to catch up on what we've been up to. Hopefully we will be able to keep in touch a little better now. More posts to follow.
