Birthday Swag

For my birthday Wade got me an awesome new camera. I wasted no time in taking pictures of everyone and messing with all the dials and buttons that I could find. Here are the first few pictures I took with my new toy. Plus, just a good excuse to post cute pics of the family. (Also, you can't see the wrinkles on her nose, but if you click on the picture you will clearly see Claire's new favorite face she uses for everything. I love it!)











Cute pictures huh. I am pretty lucky to have such a great family. Next step, reading my manual. Stay tuned for more picture posts.

Play Group Extraordinaire

I never used to be much into "playgroups", but maybe Holden & I just never found our niche. Lately we have been having a play group with two of my good friends Jill & Stephanie, and their little cuties. Now I have become a playgroup junkie, and I look forward to our Tuesday outings with the kids. I love both of the girls we go with and I adore their little ones as well. So here's to playgroups.



Our latest outing was to the fountains at The Gateway. Ahh, free activities, one of the many reasons I love Salt Lake.


I never could get Holden to get in the water, but he sure had a fun time running around it and watching all the other kids. Holden's kind of his own little person and he like to do things his own way, so I just let him be Holden.

Suprisingly Fun

Isn't it fun when you have nothing planned at all for the day and you still end up having a lot of fun anyway. This morning we had nothing to do, so we made our own fun; we picked up some doughnuts and took them to Liberty Park. After washing them down with some chocolate milk we strolled over to the middle of the park where Holden, (ok, and me too,) had a great time riding the rides. What a blast. We didn't even have time to check out the Tracy Aviary. Which made me think of Katherine Winegar. (long story.) Anyways, it was a really great day and totally spontaneous which sometimes feels good too.

Yep, that is me & Claire on the ferris wheel. She loved it so much Wade took her again.

Aside from the ferris wheel, there weren't any other rides Claire could go on, but we though she should have equal representation.
